At Beauty Point, we’re taking the health and safety of our residents, staff and visitors seriously. We’re closely following all the Government directives concerning COVID-19 concerning personal hygiene and social distancing so we can make Beauty Point Retirement Village a safe place for everyone.

We’ve introduced these new guidelines – in line with the Government’s directives – and it’s important that we all adhere to these guidelines so we can avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Our main guideline for anyone visiting the village is not to come to the village if they’ve travelled overseas within the last 14 days or if they’ve been in contact with a person who has or has had, Coronavirus.

As well, we need to adhere to the Social Distancing Rules so everyone in the village should be meeting in groups of people no larger than two. Please keep a distance of 1.5 metres away from all people at all times.

Our Staff have been educated in the latest initiatives from the government and so we would ask that during this time, if a member of staff asks you to do something, please follow their instructions.

Our Staff are now wearing masks during office hours and they will use hand sanitiser and wash their hands regularly throughout the working day.

Our Personal Carers are monitoring our Staff’s temperatures on a daily basis and if any member of staff’s temperature is elevated, they will be sent home to self-isolate.

Our Cleaners will clean and disinfect the door knobs, surfaces, packages etc around the village on a regular basis.

Our hairdresser, Janine, is open her usual hours but she is only taking one client at a time and following strict sanitising guidelines as well. Her hours are: Wed, Thurs and Fri: 9.30am – 5.00pm and Sat: 8.00am – 1.00pm.

The restaurant is serving takeaway food only and you can order this by phoning them on 8708 4713 and placing your order. Your food can be delivered to your room at no extra charge or you can pick it up.
